VIDEO: Audi’s McNish Suffers a Terrible Accident at 24h of Le Mans

Audi may have dominated the qualifying session of the 24 Hours Le Mans, but suffered a setback early in the race when the R18 TDI that started from 5th place and was at the time being driven by Allan McNish, had a terrible accident. Audi will attempt to achieve a new victory next month at the Le Mans endurance race, with last year's victorious trio of veteran drivers (Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen and Rinaldo Capello) aiming for a win in the new R18TDI. Audi has won the Le Mans 9 times in the past 11 years, with both petrol and diesel racing cars.

Video: Audi Releases new R8 V10 FSi Quattro Promo Film

Equipped with a modified version of the Lamborghini Gallardo's V10 with 525-horsepower, the R8 5.2 FSI quattro is the most powerful version of Audi's Porsche-killing mid-engined supercar. First Video of new Audi A5 Convertible

It took them a while, but the folks over at Ingolstadt finally released official video footage of their all-new A5 Convertible that will be making its premiere at the Geneva Show. Whereas most of its rivals like the BMW 3-Sereis Convertible and the Lexus IS C have opted for a retractable hardtop, Audi's four-seater comes with a conventional fabric top. The A5 Convertible will be offered with various gasoline and diesel engines ranging from the entry-level 160HP 1.8-liter TFSI to the S5's 333HP 3.0 V6 TFSI. Video: Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI 525HP in Motion

Better late than never; more than a month after Audi revealed the first photographs and details of the R8 5.2 FSI quattro, the German automaker decided to share with us official footage of the fastest and most powerful version of its mid-engined supercarcar. The range-topping R8 features a detuned version of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4's V10 powerplant that churns out 525-hp and 530 Nm (390.91 lb-ft) of torque for a zero to 100 km/h (62mph) sprint in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 316 km/h (196 mph).
