IMSA Creates Carbon-Fiber Bodyit for new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

For some people, not even a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is exotic enough for their taste. That's where specialized tuners like IMSA come into the picture. The German tuning firm developed a new carbon-fiber bodykit for the facelifted Gallardo which consists of an aerodynamically optimized front apron, larger fenders for all four wheel arches, side skirts and a rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. As is the case with such tuning proposals, the aerokit can be enhanced with a new set of alloy wheels.

While we wouldn't mind seeing our lady wearing this pair of Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera inspired, carbon-fibered high heel shoes, unfortunately for us but luckily for our chic gal, these heels weren't made for walking or anything else for that matter. Actually, unlike the Opel Agila shoes we showed you in the past, the Lambo high-heels you're looking (maybe even mocking) at the picture above, are the fantasy product of a creative photoshop artist called Tim Cooper.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo on Track for Race Debut

This week Lamborghini took its Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo racing car to the track in Adria, Italy for its latest official testing session ahead of its race-debut on 02-03 May at the Silverstone circuit in the UK. The Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo that is destined to populate the brand's one-make racing series retains the stock car's permanent four-wheel drive but comes with a reworked chassis and a subtly tweaked version of the 5.2-liter V10 engine with 570HP.

In Adria, Lamborghini's official test driver Giorgio Sanna completed more than 100 laps on the drying circuit during the day before driving an entire race distance in the afternoon.

"We came to Adria to primarily test the performance of the brakes and tires, as well as component reliability in a full race simulation," said Sanna. "Adria is ideal for this kind of testing, as there's lots of continual up-and-downshifting through the gears, especially second, third and fourth. It's also really hard on the brakes of all cars that visit, because of the tight corners, so we've learned a lot."

Youngsters Burn Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder to the Ground

We knew that Lamborghini's Gallardo Spyder is one heck of a scorching hot model, but this is ridiculous... Humor aside, this unfortunate incident took place at a parking lot in the city of Sint-Truiden in Belgium when a couple of youngsters, for no apparent reason, began destroying whatever car they could get their hands on. For the drop-top Gallardo, the "dynamic-duo" chose the "flambé" method, burning the Italian sportscar to the ground. What can we say; we live in crazy world...
